As the weather begins to turn cooler with the coming of fall, we’re busy prepping (and getting excited) for the 2025 Bonfire Gala! This year brings an incredibly fun twist, a new theme, “Denim and Diamonds.” We hope you will consider purchasing tickets or become a sponsor.
We can’t wait to gather with our friends, family, and supporters to celebrate another year of Beyond Boundaries, while raising critical funding for adventures, gear, and more.
“The Bonfire Gala is our annual formal fundraiser, this year hosted at Maymont both inside and outside,” shares Shep Roeper, Executive Director of Beyond Boundaries. “With live music, silent auctions, dinner, classic cocktails, and friendship, the Bonfire Gala is an incredible event that focuses on gathering together to share tales of our adventures while raising critical funding to support and grow our mission.
The Gala was inspired by the timeless tradition of gathering around a fire to share stories. A gala is a celebration, and when you combine the two, you get an evening that’s both warm and unforgettable. This special night brings together our participants, volunteers, donors, and those new to our mission to celebrate the power of adaptive, accessible, and inclusive recreation—because that’s what makes our community stronger.
On our adventures, you’ll see participants trying new activities that push them beyond their boundaries. You’ll witness confidence growing, friendships forming, and a deeper sense of connection to the community. We hope you’ll join us for a night of stories, celebration, and inspiration you won’t forget.”
